Student Responsibility & Item Drop-Offs
The school office does not accept drop-offs of any kind for students. Middle school is an important time for students to build independence, and we encourage them to prepare the night before to ensure they have all they need for the day (Chromebooks, PE clothes, water bottles, homework/projects, instruments, and lunches).

Loaner Chromebooks and PE clothes are available if needed.

Drinking fountains and water dispensers are available across campus.

Lunch is free for all students.
For safety and supervision reasons, forgotten items cannot be passed through the school gates. We kindly ask for your support in reinforcing this guideline at home.
Cell Phone Policy
We ask parents not to text students during the school day. Students may not use their cell phones during class time; if a phone is seen out, it will be confiscated for the remainder of the day.
Early Pick-Ups
If your student needs to leave early for an appointment, please email Annie Chang at [email protected] before the school day begins. This helps inform teachers in advance and avoids classroom interruptions. Students are responsible for reminding their teacher when it is time to leave.
We understand that unexpected situations may arise. In those cases, please come to the office and provide a note when signing your student out.
Attendance Updates
This year we are using a new attendance system:

After 5:00 p.m. on any day your student is absent, you will receive an email with two links.

Parent link – submit the reason for the absence.

Student link – submit work for attendance credit.

Please note that attendance credit and class credit are separate: students must submit through the attendance link for attendance purposes and also turn in assignments directly to teachers.
For extended vacations, please continue to notify the school in advance. Attendance credit will only apply if ARP was selected in ANTP.
Parking & Drop-Off/Pick-Up
There are no student drop-offs or pick-ups in the staff parking lot on the south side. All drop-offs and pick-ups must take place in the north lot by the gym, including for students with zero period.
